Oh blog! It is nice to mingle.
At 2:12 am, when I "should" be sleeping. I tic toc away to the sound of my computer keys, admix the calm, serene melody of my water fountain in the back ground. Acutely aware of my senses, I am accompanied by an enthusiastic dance. In my field of awareness, a high pitched buzzing in my ear. Spirit energy is high, as I prepare for three days of readings.
This noise we learn to tune out? Spirit chatter! It is brilliant, to it's own accord.
Not so much when one desires sleep.
I know how to turn down this dial. Don't I ?
Good thing "should" is not a word which I hold a whole lot of respect for. Nor do I recommend it.
Nope. I am awake. I never fight it. I know better. Night time, I always get my best work done.
So...breathe in, and out. I exchange the word "should" to one, somewhat more gentle. I "could" be sleeping. Or, I could allow the creative juices to flow. I could be using the energy towards something more productive.
The word "blog" has tapped on my shoulder for a decent portion of my life. Okay I am exaggerating. Easily a good four years. While in the past I have been an accomplished procrastinator, I am now more of a "Just keep calm and do it right now" kind of person.
Forget perfect grammar, the editor is sleeping. The website is not perfect. Again. Retrograde, cozy winter, planning my life, being in the moment, playing, allowing healthy romance, all of these other important duties have been more important. Social media is SO NOT my thing.Yet.
Perfect excuses to put it off. Errr. Perhaps a question mark shall be inserted here.
Well it is now international woman's day!
As a bold picture of Marilyn Monroe stares me in the face. Beside me, a see through version of Joan of arc. My present moment, motivational coaches. They did not accomplish much by putting things off. Admire.
"You are one of us"
They whisper in passion.
My deadline for a Sunday blog, expired about six months ago. Once again. I recommend being gentle. Everything happens when one is ready.
So now, seems to be when!
Celebrations! I adore any reason to ceremonialize! Yes that IS a word. If not. I just made it up :)
This may be one of, no maybe THE most important reasons. Do you agree? Who doesn't love a woman?
If you think about it, there would be no "you" to read this if it were not for feminine creation.
As we celebrate a day that needs more attention, I figure it a perfect day to start.
Cheers to women ! A woman is a beautiful replica of creation. She comes in many shapes and sizes, has a natural ability to be sensual, intuitive, kind, vicious, adoring, funny, witty, wise, nurturing feisty and loving. Sometimes all in one day ! That is a true miracle in my opinion. So I say we have a damn good reason to celebrate ! Everyday.
I do not need to go into the past of where woman have been, its far to late for sinking feelings in my tummy right now. We all know where we have been, and I would rather focus on how far we have come! The age of woman coming back into balance is here!
A few thousand years of being patient, hiding in art, in fiction, in literature, in kitchens, and under niqab veils. For a loooooooooong time. We have prepared ourselves, our children, husbands, brothers, fathers, boyfriends, male leaders, and warriors. Through these times, in our own mystical ways and perhaps enduring too many hardships. We have shown men, how to be more loving, more kind, less reactive, more emotionally sensitive and more nurturing.
We are remembering our voices, our power and our purpose here. Luckily, many men are wonderfully balanced, harmoniously tuned, emotionally available, heart warming teddy bears with a lot of love to give. Often due to a positive woman role model at some point in time in their lives, mingled with straight up, conscience integrity.
We are being respected more, getting paid more, being listened too and honoured ! Settling for less is no longer an option. The world is changing and the truth is, the feminine energy that has been lacking on this planet is coming back!
Princess and the pea, and sleeping beauty kissed the frog who never turned into the prince. She danced anyway. The little mermaid got her voice back, and wrote her own contract, Bell danced with the beast who became a gentleman, and it was Jasmine who took Aladin on a magic carpet ride. Sleeping beauty woke up on her own (to the sound of her alarm clock) and cinderella intuitively found her supportive partner who knew how to treat her.
Then, the new age fairytale linguist stated that they ALL did, actually live happily ever after.
As a healer I see woman needing, and seeking healing everyday, it is a journey we need to participate in. Men need it too. I trust they too are waking up the Goddess within. Because they do know,
"Ya can't beat em ! But you sure can't help but join them!"
Cheers to international woman's day !
For all the woman and men out there, remember who you are ! Speak your balanced voice, be compassionate and passionate. Be sensual rather than a sex object. Respect your self, and go for it! Spread the word, dont complain. Find a better way to communicate, support each other, be playful and shine bright. YOU are gorgeous!
Now, just a little bit of top shelf, imported fairy dust. To sleep. For a wee three hours.
Because tomorrow, there is a world to shift !
As Dora would say:
"We did it ! "
